Two people in Trondheim tested positive for covid-19 on Thursday 6 August. Trondheim municipality writes in a press release on Friday morning. A total of 292 people were tested.
59 people in quarantine
One infected person is in his 50s and probably infected in a green country. The person has moderate symptoms and is in isolation. Eight people have been quarantined. The other is in his 20s, has mild symptoms and is also in isolation. This person has an unknown site of infection. A total of 59 people have been quarantined, the municipality writes in the press release.
200 people are waiting for the test and will be tested today or in the next few days. On Thursday, Trondheim municipality received 357 inquiries on the corona telephone.
Infection at Huseby primary school
Thursday afternoon it became known that an employee at Huseby primary school was diagnosed with covid-19. The SFO offer at the school is closed today for infection control. The infection control office in Trondheim works with infection tracking. Everyone who may have been in contact with the person in question has been contacted by the infection control office.
Fresh Fitness was closed
The fitness center Fresh Fitness in Trondheim was notified that infected person has trained at the center. The people who have been in close contact with the person in question have been contacted by the infection control office. Fresh Fitness has informed its members who have trained for the same period of time as the infected person has trained at the center and could have been contagious.
A total of 366 people have been diagnosed with covid-19 in Trondheim since the outbreak in March.
