Two new appointments to Société Générale Maroc

Société Générale Maroc has just announced two new appointments. Indeed, Mehdi Benbachir is now DGA in charge of the Retail Business Unit – member of Comex, and Larbi Mouline will be the new member of Comex in charge of Investment Banking.

As head of the Retail BU, Mehdi Benbachir will be in charge of driving the markets of individuals, professional customers as well as very small businesses. The new DGA joined the bank in 2005 within the Direction of Large Companies. In 2008, he was appointed head of the Consulting Department, which supports corporate clients in their corporate finance operations. In 2013, he took charge of all the activities of the Investment Bank (Consulting, Trading Room, Securities, Stock Brokerage, Research, Asset Management and Private Equity).

In 2018, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director in charge of the Investment Banking Business Unit and the Strategy / Marketing / Quality / Innovation Service Unit.

As for Larbi Mouline, he joined Société Générale in April 2017 as Director of Capital Markets. During the three years spent at the head of the Management, he led the transformation of the trading room business model, in particular by opening up to the institutional clientele segment and the development of new activities.
