Madeira has two new positive cases of covid-19, so the Region now counts a cumulative total of 138 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus.
These are two residents who returned from their trip and tested positive for covid-19 in the context of the screening operation underway at Madeira airport.
There are now 31 active cases, of which 30 are imported cases identified in the context of surveillance activities implemented at Madeira airport.
Since yesterday, two situations of travelers that are being studied by health authorities have also been identified. Laboratory tests and an epidemiological investigation are ongoing.
