Blured

The police say that an investigation team has selected the images of the suspects from thousands of hours of footage. The police first looked at them internally, so that local police officers and police employees had the opportunity to recognize people. One of them is blurred in the picture, as he is still a minor. Images of more rioters will soon be released and there may also be better shots of the suspects already shown.

Police have already received more than 30 tips.

“Rooters who know they were there, but have not yet been shown, can prevent publication by reporting themselves to the police,” the police said. “This way, family, friends and the employer do not have to see what they have been involved in.” Anyone who knows who was involved are also asked to report this to the police.

Five months in jail

A 26-year-old woman from Spijkenisse and a 29-year-old man from Rotterdam were sentenced to five months in prison, two of which were conditional, for throwing stones at an riot police van and police cars.
