The police carried out a large-scale search for camping and bungalow park Tussen de Wieken on Meerboomweg in Hollandscheveld on Friday evening. Two men were arrested.

The men would have threatened someone with a firearm. A knife and a firearm were seized during the arrest. Nobody was injured.
During the search, a police helicopter circled for a long time with searchlight above the site. The camping guests and residents had to stay inside for their own safety. The entire environment has been combed out. The Meerboomweg was closed to traffic.
Tonight the arrest team arrested two men at Meerboomweg in Hollandscheveld in connection with a firearm threat. The firearm and a knife were seized. Nobody was injured. More information is currently unknown.
