Two people were killed and five wounded in a shooting after a high school graduation ceremony in Virginia, Reuters and BTA reported, citing police.

The tragedy took place in the capital of the American state – Richmond.

A shooter opened fire in a park as students and their parents began to leave the theater after the ceremony.

The police arrested the attacker – a 19-year-old man. His motive is not yet known, but he knew at least one of the people he shot.

The murdered men were 18 and 36 years old, respectively. One of the injured, aged 31, is in a life-threatening condition. The other four shot were also men.

A 9-year-old girl was pushed by a car in the ensuing commotion.

Also, many people fell and hit themselves or got stress.
