Two gaming laptops, Lenovo Legion 7 and Legion 5 Pro released in Indonesia, this is the price

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. On Tuesday (6/4/2021), Lenovo officially introduced two of its newest gaming laptops in Indonesia, namely the Legion 7 and Legion 5 Pro through an online launch event.

Lenovo Indonesia’s consumer lead, Santi Nainggolan, said that these two laptops have been specially designed to support the activities of gamers and content creators.

“Today we are able to bring a new and comprehensive solution and service from Lenovo Legion to gamers and gamers content creator, “said Santi.

Even though they are two different models, the Legion 7 and Legion 5 Pro still have similarities in a number of aspects. In terms of hardware, these two compact gaming laptops are powered by an AMD Ryzen 5000 H-Series Mobile processor. As for graphics cards, both are equipped with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 Series.

Both the Legion 7 and the Legion 5 Pro have also been equipped with the Coldfront 3.0 thermal management system, which is claimed to be able to keep the laptop’s temperature cool. To maintain user privacy, both laptops have an e-shutter feature that can cover the 720p webcam.

Lenovo Legion 7

The Lenovo Legion 7 has a Storm Gray colored aluminum body. This laptop has a screen measuring 16 inches (2,560 x 1,600 pixels), a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a brightness level of 500 Nits.

For the kitchen runway sector, the Legion 7 is equipped with an 8 cores AMD Ryzen R9-5900HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 16 GB GDDR6X graphics card. Still in the hardware sector, this laptop comes with up to 32 GB DDR4 RAM, and up to 2 TB SSD type storage. Lenovo Legion 7 has a battery capacity of 80 Whr.

The Legion 7 battery already has a Rapid Charge Boost feature, which can speed up charging time. Like other gaming laptop series, the Legion 7 is also equipped with the Legion TrueStrike Keyboard which is capable of displaying 16 million RGB colors of light and can be adjusted via the Corsair iCUE application.

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro

The Legion 5 Pro is here as a gaming laptop that excels in the design sector. On the back of the Legion 5 Pro screen is the Legion’s signature “Y” logo in white. This laptop is equipped with a 16-inch screen (2,560 x 1,600 pixels), a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a brightness level of 300 Nits.

The Legion 5 Pro is equipped with an 8 cores AMD Ryzen R7-5800H processor. The processor is also paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 6 GB GDDR6 graphics card, 32 GB DDR4 RAM, and 1 TB SSD. Similar to the Legion 7, the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro is also equipped with TrueStrike Keyboard, Nahimic Audio, and Wi-Fi 6.

Price and availability

In Indonesia, the Legion 7 is sold for IDR 32 million, while the Legion 5 Pro is IDR 26 million. This price includes Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019. Especially for Legion 7, buyers will also get additional bonus accessories in the form of the Legion Gaming Headset H300, Gaming Mouse M500, and Legion Armored II Backpack.

Meanwhile, Legion 5 Pro buyers will get almost the same bonus, namely the Legion Gaming Headset H300, Gaming Mouse M300, and Legion Recon Backpack.

Despite announcing the prices of the two gaming laptops, however, Lenovo hasn’t announced the date of availability for the Legion 7 and Legion 5 Pro in Indonesia.
