Two Dijon firefighters and the SDIS (Departmental Intervention and Rescue Service) of Côte-d’Or lodged a complaint, Sunday, November 29, after mortar fire on an intervention crew, this Saturday, around 9:30 p.m. The six firefighters intervened in a garbage can fire in Dijon. Two of them were targeted by fireworks mortar fire during the intervention. “They were reaching out to the staff. These are the reports of the firefighters who were on site“Says Lieutenant-Colonel Roy of SDIS 21. No firefighter is injured.
“We do not understand what can generate this type of hostile reaction“, considers Lieutenant-Colonel Roy. A psychological support unit is being considered by the Côte-d’Or firefighters .
