Two fighter planes crashed in India / Article

Representatives of the Indian Police indicated that the location of the wreckage of one plane has already been determined, and the injured pilot was found in a forest near the village of Pahadgarh in the state of Madhya Pradesh in central India. The search for the wreckage of the second plane continues.

Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force press service reports an incident involving two fighter jets near the city of Gwalior. One of the three pilots involved in the collision died. According to Madhya Pradesh state authorities, the Su-30 and Mirage fighters are in question.

This is not the first aviation accident in the Indian Air Force in recent times, according to AFP. In October 2022, five soldiers were killed in a helicopter crash in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, which borders China.
