A fire on Christmas night consumed a banquet hall in Brooklyn.
The fire broke out shortly before 7 p.m. Friday at the business located at the intersection of X Avenue and East 14th Street, in the Sheepshead Bay sector.
About 140 firefighters battled for four hours to bring the flames under control. Two firefighters were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The causes of the incident remain under investigation.
