A link between Kerkrade’s explosion and that which occurred Wednesday morning at a company in Amsterdam cannot be established with certainty at the moment, police said.
The sorting center at Kerkrade was evacuated and a demining team visited the site. An investigation has been opened.
Since the beginning of January, various companies such as hotels, a petrol station, a real estate agency and even a postal sorting center have been the target of warning letters or booby traps, notably in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam.
