Two 89-year-olds, husband and wife, jumped from the 7th floor of the block they lived in, in Bucharest. (Updated article)
According to information from G4Media.ro, the two jumped out of the window of the garbage can located on the landing. From the statements of a family friend it emerged that the two suffered from various medical conditions.

Police confirmed the incident:
“On 23 September this year, around 12:10, the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest – Police Section 6 was informed, by calling 112, that a man and a woman had rushed from the 7 1st floor of a block, located in Sector 2.
The first aid teams intervened on the spot, as well as the carabinieri of the department.
Despite the efforts of medical staff, the two people, both 89 years old, were declared dead.
In order to establish the causes and conditions under which the death occurred, the investigations were entrusted to the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court and to the Homicide Service of the Capital Police.
The corpses will be transported to the INML for the autopsy. “
