Twitter Send Money Feature Leaked

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Twitter Reportedly designing a new feature, Twitter’s send money feature, which allows users to tip other users.

The report was leaked from an application developer named June Machun Wong via uploads on his Twitter account. In the post he attached a screenshot showing the Cash button at the top of the user, or what is called a Tip Jar on Twitter on iOS 14.

By tapping on the icon, the page will display a dropdown menu with payment options via Bandcamp, Cash App, Patreon, PayPal and Venmo.

This feature is also found on the Twitter Space profile page, which is a feature of Twitter’s Clubhouse competitor. This was first discovered by Wong in March.

Quoted iMore, testing this feature is considered as finalizing the concept of a monetizable Twitter ecosystem for its users. Twitter is also reportedly developing a Super Follow feature.

This feature is different from regular Follow, because other users have to subscribe to a paid subscription to be able to access uploads or exclusive content from creator accounts who are included in the news The Verge.

In the mockup screenshot, Twitter shows an example of a user charging US $ 4.99 per month to receive a set of perks.

The content is in the form of bonus tweets, newsletter subscriptions, access to community groups, and badges that show user support. What’s different about Super Follow is that it displays icons and text in black instead of Twitter’s typical blue color.

It is considered as a differentiator for the profile that enables Super Follow In this view, Twitter is using their new font.

Twitter sees the send money feature and Super Follow as a way for creators to be paid directly by their followers or fans. However, it is not certain when this new feature will be officially launched to the public.
