Twitter has acknowledged problems with its Android app – as befits via Twitter. Apparently, a bug in the latest update (version 8.28) of the app on Android is causing the application to crash. The update was delivered on January 21 – according to the changelog, it should primarily bring improvements under the hood.
Twitter apologized for the inconvenience in the tweet and promised to patch the error. Until then, we advise against updating the app. According to “MSpoweruser” it would have helped some users to reinstall the app or clear the cache.
