A reason for Dorsey’s departure is not given. Reuters also reports that Twitter’s supervisory board has been preparing for Dorsey’s departure since last year. It would already be known internally in a small circle who will succeed him.
Employees of the tech company have not yet been informed, a source told a Bloomberg journalist.
