Twenty-two matches without a win. Schalke did not interrupt the terrible series even against Stuttgart

Schalke footballers did not end the wait for the Bundesliga win even in the prelude to the 6th round against Stuttgart.

The team from Gelsenkirchen drew in front of the empty stands of the home Veltins Arena with a newcomer 1: 1 and extended the series without a league victory to 22 matches and 287 days.

Schalke did not win despite scoring first for the first time this season. The home team’s nineteen-year-old Malick Thiaw took the lead in the 30th minute with his first Bundesliga goal. Eleven minutes after the break, Nicolás González set the final score from the penalty kick for the hand of the Argentine.

After the second draw of the year, Schalke is penultimate, Stuttgart has moved up to fourth in the incomplete table.

Wolverhampton confirmed a great start

Wolverhampton footballers, experiencing the best entry into the first English league since 1979, defeated Crystal Palace in the pre-round 7 of the 7-0 round. As a result, they moved up to third place in the incomplete table and have 13 points as the leaders of Everton and Liverpool, but one more match.

Wolverhampton decided the fourth win of the season in the first half hour after the centers on the right. In the 18th minute, nineteen-year-old French defender Rayan Ait-Nouri made his way with a volley in his Wolves debut, and nine minutes later, the Portuguese winger Daniel Podence raised with a small lime knock.

The guests finished in the end ten after the elimination of Luka Milivojevič, who saw in the 86th minute a straight red card for a foul on Joa Moutinh on the halfway line.

Cadiz reached for his forehead

The newcomer to the Spanish football league, Cádiz, won the pre-round 8 in Eibar and, after the fourth win of the season, scored the leading team of the incomplete San Sebastian table.

Cadiz decided with two goals in quick succession at the end of the first half. In the 36th minute, the 35-year-old Spanish European champion Álvaro Negredo opened the score with his head, and three minutes later, after a quick counterattack and Negred’s ideal pass, Salvi raised.

Like San Sebastian, Cádiz has 14 points, but one more match. Real Madrid and Granada in third and fourth position lose a point and even have two games to their advantage.
