“Twenty and the Beast” Manga Concludes Serialization
Tokyo, Japan – sei Soragami‘s popular romance manga, Twenty and the Beast (Nijū to Seijū), will conclude in the next issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine, set to release on October 10. The announcement was made in the magazine’s October issue, released Friday.
The series, which began in Bessatsu Friend in October 2022, follows 20-year-old aya as she navigates her first kohai and the attentions of her mature, assertive trainer, Yamato Higa. Published in English by K MANGA, Twenty and the Beast quickly gained a following for its dynamic between the leads and exploration of workplace relationships. The manga currently has six compiled volumes, with the most recent released on May 13.
Soragami is also currently serializing Idol Shikkaku, an adaptation of Wakana Abe’s novel, in Kadokawa’s Comptiq magazine since January 2024.The second volume of Idol Shikkaku shipped on June 10.
