TV 2, Telenor | Breaches in negotiations with TV 2 – 550,000 customers are affected

Negotiations on a new distributor agreement have taken place three days into overtime. On Friday afternoon, the situation is such that Telenor’s service T-We does not have the right to broadcast TV 2’s channels.

For Telenor customers who have the T-We service, TV 2’s channels will go black. Telenor states that due to breaches in negotiations, Telenor is not allowed to broadcast TV 2’s channels.

– We are very sorry that this affects our customers, and can assure you that we do everything we can to put in place a new agreement with TV 2, says Camilla Amundsen.

According to TV 2, 550,000 customers will be affected by this.

In the press release, for Telenor’s service T-We, the two parties have not reached an agreement.

– We went to negotiations with a desire for a long-term collaboration with TV2 and a willingness to invest more in Norwegian quality content. We have gone to great lengths to reach an agreement, but we can not enter into an agreement that makes it more difficult to be a TV viewer, says Camilla Amundsen, director of TV and fixed networks at Telenor Norway.
