In Tuscany there are 1,003 new cases of positivity to Covid-19 (983 confirmed with molecular swab and 20 by rapid antigenic test), which bring the total number to 220,973 since the beginning of the coronavirus health emergency. New cases are 0.5% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.8% and reached 191,474 (86.7% of total cases). Today, 13,880 molecular swabs and 12,169 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 3.9% were positive. On the other hand, 9,301 subjects tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 10.8% were positive. The currently positive are 23,507 today, -2% compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 1,757 (24 less than yesterday), of which 256 in intensive care (1 less). Today there are 17 new deaths: 8 men and 9 women with an average age of 79.5 years.

19% are under the age of 20

Prato is the province with the highest rate

The number of people healed is increasing

As for the provinces, the highest mortality rate is found in Massa-Carrara (264.5 per 100,000), Florence (192.2 per 100,000) and Prato (190.6 per 100,000), the lowest in Grosseto ( 71.5 per 100,000).
