Turnaround for Kurzawa

While his departure at the end of the season seemed established, Layvin Kurzawa should finally extend his contract with PSG.

If he had been less definitive than for Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani, whose adventure he had ended in the capital, Leonardo also clearly noted the departures from Thomas Miller and Layvin Kurzawa, also at the end of the contract with the PSG. But if the Red Devil has indeed left the champions of France, the Borussia Dortmund announcing its signature this Thursday, the deal has changed for the former Monegasque.

Discussions between PSG and its left side have indeed resumed in recent weeks and if the native of Fréjus seemed to be greedy, hoping to double his emoluments to extend, an agreement would have been found. According to RMC Sport, the international tricolor has given its agreement in principle to continue with the Red and Blue. An extension that should delight his teammates, Layvin Kurzawa being very appreciated in the Parisian locker room.

While like captain Thiago Silva, Layvin Kurzawa was present on Monday for the recovery, Kylian Mbappé had welcomed his decision to stay at least two more months. “You’re a real”, he wrote on Twitter, to which he replied: “Just happy to be back home.” A return which should therefore take place over time.
