Turkish Actress Ihsan Eroglu Criticizes President Erdogan and Leaves Homeland

Turkish actress Ihsan Eroglu objected to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s victory in assuming the presidency of Turkey again.

She surprised her fans and followers by leaving her homeland, and posted on her account on the social networking site Twitter a picture of her, commenting on it saying: “It is time to say goodbye, I want to live like the rest of the people.”

Her speech sparked a wide wave of controversy, some of whom agreed with her opinion, while others criticized her.

On the technical level, Ihsan participated in a number of series, including “The Bride of Istanbul”, which achieved very high viewership rates and was sold to more than one country.
