Turki Al-Sheikh, the owner of the Spanish club Almeria, refused to involve his name in the current raging crisis between Al-Ahly fans and its former player Ramadan Subhi, who announced his transfer to Pyramids several weeks ago.
Al-Sheikh said, on his Facebook account, Tuesday: “I saw part of Amr Adib’s meeting with the Pyramids player … I did not like the timing or the goal … and I still ask the Pyramids management to explain the interruption of my relationship with the club … It is not correct for what you are doing. He continued: “If you did something and you were convinced about it, people would not use the name Turki Al Sheikh until now as you are doing inside the Pyramids Club,” he called on Salem Al Shamsi, the owner of Pyramids to “resolve the issue.”
He concluded: “On another issue, I only worry about arbitration on November 6, and I warn and advise the African Union clearly on this issue … and the ninth, God willing.”
