The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, SOHR, reported that the return of Syrian mercenaries trapped in Libya has been suspended for 20 days, as the last batch of return was made in mid-November, and that Turkey intends to send a new batch of mercenaries to Libya in the next few days.

To this, the balance of Syrian mercenaries sent to Libyan soil now amounts to 18,000, of which 350 are under the age of 18, while around 10,750 returned to Syria, after their contracts expired and they received sums of money, in addition to the slaughter of at least 496 in Libya.

In the same relationship, Turkey used Syrian mercenaries in the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict in Karabakh, which ended after the ceasefire agreement of November 9, 2020 between the two parties negotiated by Russia.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, SOHR, Turkey transferred 2,580 Syrian mercenaries to Azerbaijan, of whom 514 died.
