Turin, 17, tries to rape and strangle a 50-year-old woman

In the late afternoon in Orbassano, on the outskirts of the Piedmontese capital, the carabinieri arrested in flagrant for attempted murder and attempted sexual violence a 17-year-old Italian who assaulted a woman in the garage of an apartment building, first for sexual purposes and, to the victim’s reaction, attempting to strangle her with a keychain rope.

Fortunately, the woman suffered only a few bruises on her neck while the minor was taken to the first reception center in the Piedmontese capital.

Despite the shock of the attack, the victim a fifty-year-old woman managed to ask for help at 112 allowing two police gazelles to reach the place of the attack in a few minutes.

Arrived on the spot the carabinieri surrounded the building, forcing the young man, who had meanwhile gone away, to surrender. An ambulance then accompanied the woman, in shock, to the hospital.
