After several testimonies, the Tupungato Police managed to decipher the modus operandi of a couple (man-woman) in Tupungato who generated appointments that the victims attended to later steal.
The victims – who were contacted by Facebook – went to meet the woman in a specific place so that later the male accomplice could carry out the crime.
According to account NDIOne of the cases is that of a 20-year-old young man who was summoned and who later filed the complaint at the 20th police station. From there, a series of inquiries and hypotheses emerged that made it clear why the woman never made the complaint and why many of the victims did not go to court either.
The young man assaulted said that the woman, after contacting the Messeger messaging platform, invited him to meet her and, while they were walking through the Callejón Sáenz in the department, the girl asked for his phone number to make a call advising a relative that “They were coming.” Within minutes of cutting, they were intercepted by a subject with a mask and a knife asking for all the money.
Later, police personnel managed to find the whereabouts of the girl who refuses to report, but betrayed her accomplice only by giving her first name. With this personal data, an investigation was initiated, managing to find the subject whose home was searched, finding the elements that the last victim reported seeing (mask and knife).
