Tuesday Discussion with Manuela Barth (Urbane Gärten München) – Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society

This week, project leader Dr Manuela Barth from Urbane Gärten München introduces us to the work of Munich’s first cooperative initiative for urban gardening. Since 2011, the Urbane Gärten München initiative has been helping to improve local air quality and hydrologic balance, promoting social interaction and creating educational opportunities. We will gain insights into the work of various garden projects across Munich and learn how green spaces can help pave the way for the city of the future.
