Tuchel in “Farewell Letter”: I will never forget the memories of 18 months with Chelsea

Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel broke his long silence after his dismissal from the “Blues” coach, and expressed his deep affection and grief at the sudden dismissal, and wrote a farewell letter in to which he said: “He hoped to stay for many years at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s stronghold.”
Tuchel, 49, was sacked on Wednesday morning after scoring against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League group stage. Tuchel pleaded with the club’s new owners during a brief meeting that took just 10 minutes to hold him and give him a second chance, but the club’s president and board of directors, Todd Boehle, had already made the decision to fire him. And Tuchel received £ 15m in compensation for his dismissal before his contract expired, and after winning the Champions League with the team a year ago.
In his letter, Tuchel said: “This is the most difficult letter I write because I am very attached to Chelsea and I wish to spend many more years with him. Because everyone made me feel welcome here.”

The former Paris Saint-Germain coach did not forget the wonderful moments he had at Stamford Bridge and commented: I was proud and delighted to be able to help the team win the “Champions League and Club World Cup”, and these two championships will remain etched in my memory as long as I live, and I am very honored to have been part of the history of this club, and whatever the future awaits me, I will never forget the memories of the 18 months I spent here, because it occupies a special place in my heart.
Tuchel has received many positive responses to his farewell message from fans who love the Blues, and these responses revealed the extent of the love and appreciation these fans have for this German manager.
It should be noted that the Englishman Graham Potter, who took over the technical leadership of the team, succeeding Tuchel a few hours after the latter’s expulsion, was technical director of Brighton and with him he achieved good results. Potter has a five year contract and an annual salary of £ 10 million and is seen by everyone at Stamford Bridge as the man of the new era led by Todd Boeley, thanks to his skills as a coach, successful tactics and good leadership for the players.
