The world’s largest semiconductor maker, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), reported worse results than analysts expected for the first time in the past eight quarters.
According to its fourth-quarter 2022 results, TSMC’s revenue totaled 625.5 billion new Taiwan dollars ($20.6 billion), following the monthly data companies. This is 43% higher than the figure for the same period in 2021. However, analysts surveyed Bloombergit had forecast quarterly revenues of NT$636 billion.
