Trump’s Balkan policy: Kosovar government overthrown

Prishtina – Many citizens of Prishtina drummed pots or iron bars on their balconies to prevent the government from falling. If there were no curfews due to the Coronavirus crisis, the streets of the Kosovar capital on Wednesday would probably have been full of demonstrators against the old cadres. Despite the warning from the health authorities that a meeting of parliamentarians is too dangerous, the coalition of Vetëvendosje (VV) under Prime Minister Albin Kurti with the Democratic League (LDK), which has been in office since February, was overturned there Wednesday night with a vote of no confidence.
