From the balcony, Trump spoke to participants in an event described as a “peaceful protest for law and order.” The crowd, which slogans “the next four years” sounded before the upcoming presidential election, said the covid-19 vaccine would be ready “really very soon.”
As AFP noted, Trump did not cover his mouth and nose with a veil. The White House did not publish the results of Trump’s last coronavirus test and declined to say whether the sample was negative. It is therefore not clear whether the president, who already works from the Oval Office, is still infectious.
Trump reported a positive test for the coronavirus Sars-CoV-2 last Friday night, the day after, he was hospitalized in a military hospital and began taking several drugs, including remdesivirus. He was released from the hospital after three days, during which he regularly announced that he was feeling well.
