WASHINGTON – Ex president United States of America (AS) Donald Trump offers a personal prediction that the People’s Republic of China (PRC) will attack Taiwan circa 2022, after the Beijing Winter Olympics.

In an interview with former British lawmaker Nigel Farage, Trump spoke about America’s shortcomings and his perception of increasing aggression from Beijing. When asked by Farage where he felt America stood in the world today, Trump replied emphatically.

“I think at the lowest point ever,” Trump said. “I don’t think I’ve ever been in a position like this. We are not respected anymore,” he added Sputnik, Friday (12/3/2021).

The 45th American president outlined his belief that the United States is no longer respected by pointing out what he described as a change in Beijing’s behavior toward Taipei since he left the White House.

“I’ll tell you, there’s no plane flying over Taiwan — and it’s not even named,” Trump said.

“You didn’t talk about Taiwan when I was president – it wouldn’t have happened the way they do now,” he continued.

Soldier China flew into Taiwanese airspace during his presidency on two occasions, both in September 2020. Following Trump’s opinion on China’s changing behavior towards Taiwan, he later insinuated that Beijing would soon take military action against Taipei.
