Temperatures in some places dropped to -7 degrees Celsius
Snow is falling in many places in northern and central Turkey, in some places the snow cover has reached 30 centimeters, Turkish television TRT-Haber reported.

As temperatures drop in the middle of the week, snow falls on the highlands of northern and central Turkey (over 1,900 meters above sea level). Snow cover with a thickness of 10 to 30 centimeters has formed in the districts of Trabzon, Kayseri, Bursa, Rize, Bayburt, Gumushane.

Temperatures dropped to -7 degrees Celsius. The thickest snow cover is in the area of the town of Chaikara (Trabzon district) – 30 centimeters. A real winter also occurred in Mount Erjies (Kayseri district), as well as in Uludag mountain (Bursa district). Cold weather is not common at this time of year in Turkey.
