Truck Crashes into Cours Lieutaud Bridge in Marseille, Traffic Avoidance Advised

The Cours Lieutaud sector in Marseille is to be avoided this Tuesday. Shortly after 10:30 a.m., a truck crashed into the Cours Lieutaud bridge in Marseille. The bridge is limited to a certain height and regularly, trucks, too high, find themselves stuck. There are no injuries.

Important plugs are to be reported in the sector because the place of the accident is closed to traffic for about 300 meters. The truck only holds on the ground on half of its wheels.

Repairmen are expected on site around 1 p.m.

This footbridge built in 1867 is strictly prohibited for trucks over 3.20 m, but drivers are very often trapped by their GPS.
