Troyes (Aube) station was voted the third most beautiful station in France. During a contest organized by the SNCF on Facebook, which ended on Wednesday 5 October, the Trojan station received fewer votes than that of Limoges (Haute-Vienne), the big winner.

The city of Troyes (Aube) can boast of having the fourth most beautiful center in France. Today it can also boast of having the third most beautiful station in the area.
Next to a contest organized by SNCF Gares & Connexions on Facebook, France 3 Champagne-Ardenne reported that Troyes station was the most beautiful in eastern France. But the latter could not match the illustrious station of Limoges (Haute-Vienne).
As an indication, the Limogeaude station received 15,337 votes. Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d’Armor) is close with 11,699 votes. Troyes station follows by far, completing the winning hat-trick with 4,754 votes (see Facebook publication listing the running stations below).
Built gradually between 1848 (it’s just a simple pier) and 1912 (building dedicated to users), the current station has received a small restyling in recent years. A renewal that is undoubtedly not unrelated to the good score obtained during this competition.
It was the fourth contest of its kind. In the top three the station of Metz (Moselle) took first place. Not anymore.
