Tristan Eaton Exhibit Opens at Nashville Art Gallery

Nashville Gallery CASS contemporary to Showcase Dual Exhibits by Renowned‌ Artist Tristan Eaton

Nashville,‌ TN – CASS Contemporary⁤ is ‌currently ⁢hosting a unique exhibition featuring ‌the work ‌of internationally acclaimed artist‍ Tristan Eaton,‌ marking his first show in Nashville. The exhibit, running through February 15, 2026, presents two distinct collections: “Lately” and “Women‍ of Marvel.”

Eaton’s notable resume includes large-scale murals worldwide, collaborations with SpaceX – ‍making him the first artist⁢ to ​send art into⁣ space and have it⁢ return – and work featured at the‌ Long Beach Museum of Art and MoMA.

“He’s world-renowned,” said CASS Contemporary representative Greatens.‌ “We’re ​so excited about bringing him to Nashville. He’s never exhibited⁣ here.”

The “Lately” collection consists of ⁤14 works on wood,⁤ demonstrating ​Eaton’s skill with spray paint and exploring themes of humor, love, loss,‍ and the human experience. Concurrently, the gallery displays ‌”Women​ of Marvel,” a series of portraits of‍ female Marvel characters,⁢ made possible by Eaton’s rare licensing partnership with Marvel.

CASS ⁣Contemporary aims to make the art accessible to a⁤ broad audience, offering pieces at multiple price points, including prints.”We’re just trying‌ to add CASS’ point of view to⁤ [Nashville’s art scene], and what we do that we think ⁢stands out a⁢ little within an already great landscape,” Greatens explained. “We’re excited to share that with the city…welcoming people who maybe don’t even‍ like art yet and end up falling​ in love with it.”

The gallery specifically hopes ‌to attract students and⁢ faculty from vanderbilt University. “We’d ‍love for Vanderbilt…all the ⁤students…to​ come,” Greatens stated.⁣ “They’re all so different, so I think it ⁤hits so many different ⁢groups of individuals.”

CASS Contemporary has rotating ⁢exhibits ⁣planned ‍through 2027, alongside its​ permanent collection.
