Trio “Orange” debuts in pop music with an old Raimonds Pauls song – Video / Audio – Music – Culture +

The young singers, as background vocalists, have already participated in countless concerts and recordings of Latvian popular music stars, so a regular continuation of the trio is their participation in their own group – “Orange”. The solo compositions performed in several concert programs served as a special encouragement for the formation of the group. Special mention should be made of Raimonds Pauls’ invitation to perform the song “To the City”, which was once performed by the vocal trio of the group “Modo” – Mirdza Zīvere, Aija Kukule and Pārsla Gebharde.

The collaboration with maestro Raimonds Pauls vocalists has lasted for almost two years, including one of the biggest musical events of last summer at the Dzintari Concert Hall at the Raimonds Pauls Festival “4th Wave”.

At the moment, “Orange” is releasing the first single from the upcoming song album, which is a new version of one of the most popular hits of Raimonds Pauls and Jānis Peter’s musical “Come to the Boys” (1982) – the song “Verakoko”. At the same time, the song was sung in new versions in the Russian version, the lyrics of which were written by the Russian poet Ilya Reznik. The Russian version of the song was once written for the popular singer Valery Leontyev.

The new arrangement of the song was created by the well-known studio producer Artūrs Palkevičs. The producer of the song is Jānis Kļaviņš, the publisher is the company “Forte Production”.
