The newborn launched from the window – The mother of the newborn, identified by the police, is a 17-year-old girl who could live in the same building where the discovery took place (by an inhabitant of the residential complex). It would seem, in fact, that the little one was thrown from the window. The Scientific Police also arrived on the scene.
Hidden pregnancy – The young woman, who was taken to the obstetrics and gynecology ward of the Sant’Antonio Abate hospital in Trapani for checks, is of robust build and for this reason she would have managed to hide the pregnancy from her parents, who would not have noticed anything.
