Trapani airport, mayors summoned: via inter to pay Ryanair debt

Traced, from the technical table between the management of Airgest, the management company of Trapani Birgi airport, and the mayors that took place at the “Vincenzo Florio”, a path to close by November the debt dating back to the 2014-2017 co-marketing, with Ryanair, in order to strengthen the relationship with the Irish airline.

“Satisfied with the comparison with the territory and the promotion strategies that emerged”, commented the president of Airgest Salvatore Ombra at the end of a meeting that was wanted to get to know the mayors elected in the recent administrative session and, overall, to inform and involve the territory in the latest commercial agreements undertaken for the relaunch of the airport.

New opportunities and means for the growth of the airport will be put in place, starting next summer, by the Greek airline Lumiwings which signed an agreement with Airgest at the TTG Travel Experience, Rimini Tourism Fair.

Among the planned destinations, in addition to that of Forlì, chosen by the Greek company as its operational base, the main tourist destinations in Greece and other important Eastern Europe destinations.
