Former Arsenal left-back Armand Traore has said that fans will never see Sead Kolasinac play for the Emirates Stadium club again.

Gunners coach Mikel Arteta loaned the former Schalke defender to the German team during the January transfer window.

Kolasinac, who makes £ 100,000 a week at Arsenal, has a contract with the North Londoners for another 18 months or so.

But the fact that Arteta allowed him to go despite Kieran Tierney having a bumpy injury history is enough to tell Traore that the Spaniard has no intention of using him again.

He told Stadium Astro: “I think if Kolasinac were in Arsenal’s plans he would still be at the club right now, given that Kieran Tierney is proving to have injury problems. I don’t think we will see Kolasinac again.

Traore, who played for Arsenal during Arsene Wenger’s reign, is probably right.

It really doesn’t bode well for Kolasinac that Arteta and manager Edu let him go, by virtue of having only two real left backs on the roster.

Cedric Soares has been filling in for the injured Tierney lately, but even then, he’s a right back by trade.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international joined the club in 2017.
