Transfers: Jimmy Giraudon leaves Troyes and signs for Saint-Etienne

It was announced, it’s official. Great craftsman of the Ligue 2 title in 2020-2021 from Troyes, Jimmy Giraudon officially signed up with Saint-Étienne this Friday until 2024. In Forez, he will find his former coach at Estac, Laurent Batlles, who had made him his captain and his defensive base in the 3-4-3 diamond. Aged 30, Giraudon was not part of Bruno Irles’ plans, he had been loaned last January to Leganes, in Spanish D2, when the new coach arrived.

Jimmy Giraudon therefore leaves the Aube club after six seasons and 185 matches played for two goals and three assists. The 30-year-old defender, trained in Niort and passed through Grenoble, will try to help the Greens find the elite.
