Anthony Vanden Borre did not see his contract renewed at Anderlecht, so it was all the more striking when he was just back at the practice complex yesterday.
At the urging of good friend Vincent Kompany, Vanden Borre can stay on board at Anderlecht for the time being. The right back wants to look for a new club and maintains his condition at Anderlecht.
Anderlecht decided not to renew Vanden Borre’s contract. So there is no comeback at the club of his heart. It is unclear where his future lies. Vanden Borre appointed a new broker, but was unwilling to speak to the press.
At the training complex he did everything to not be recognized. He put on his mask and sweater over his head.
They want to save at Anderlecht and so Vanden Borre did not get a new contract. The defender therefore simply trains as a tester.
