Stephy Mavididi knows he has great talent but is nonetheless grateful that he learned a lot alongside Portuguese genius Cristiano Ronaldo. First integrated in Team C where he will play more than 30 games in Serie C, Mavididi had been promoted to the first team of Juventus by coach Max Allegri. He trained there before signing his only Serie A appearance in April 2019 in a 2-1 defeat to SPAL. Mavididi revealed that he marveled at the ability of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo to train. «It was a privilege to even train with Ronaldo. It helped me a lot. His adventure will unfortunately not be long enough with Portuguese. In search of sufficient playing time, Mavididi had left Italy to continue his progression in France. He discovered Ligue 1 with his loan to Dijon and scored 5 goals in 24 games before the Covid-19 ended the season. These performances have earned him a transfer of € 6.3m to Montpellier, a team for which he has scored 4 goals in 13 Ligue 1 games this season.
