A company train FerroValle derailed this afternoon in the Esperanza neighborhood in the limits of the municipalities of Nezahualcóyotl and Chimalhuacán.
At least five of the hoppers fell on the left side on the perimeter fence of the company “Polímeros”, located on Fourth Avenue on one side of the Canal de la Compañía, without leaving people injured.
The train came from the municipality of Los Reyes La Paz where it unloaded cement and He was heading empty towards Tlalnepantla.
According to first reports one of the train’s wheels came off and caused it to roll off the track, so that the operator stopped the march to avoid a more serious mishap.
Elements of Civil Protection and Firefighters arrived at the site, as well as municipal police to delimit the area and prevent onlookers from approaching to observe what happened.
- In addition to the Ferrovalle company, it carries out work in coordination with civil protection to remove the hoppers, while the arrival of experts is expected who will determine the causes of the accident.
A food market was installed near the place, so some people had a nervous breakdown.
