A driver who had an accident in Thun on Thursday died in the hospital on Monday. The car had crashed into a tree in a parking lot.
On Thursday, August 13, 2020, shortly after 2 p.m., a patrol of the Bern canton police discovered a car that had crashed into a tree in a parking lot near the hospital in Thun. First aiders looked after the injured driver until the rescue workers arrived.
The man was subsequently taken to a hospital by the ambulance. There he succumbed to the consequences of his injuries on Monday, August 17, 2020. The deceased is an 81-year-old man from the Canton Bern.
