The German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach on Friday that it would be damp on Saturday, especially until mid-morning, when the precipitation would move north. According to the DWD, the maximum temperatures are two to five degrees, in higher altitudes a maximum of two degrees. The values on Sunday are likely to be similar; on Monday night, white flakes are possible down to low altitudes. At minus three degrees it can be slippery on the streets. That was it on Friday morning in parts of Hesse. Ice and snowfall caused restrictions in bus traffic in some areas. In the Rheingau-Taunus district and the Hochtaunus district, for example, commuters had to reckon with cancellations, partial cancellations or delays on some lines due to the weather, as reported by the Rhein-Main transport association. – – .
