SWR – Alexander Schweitzer

Shortly before Christmas is at the train station busy. the 23rd of December is the day when she expects a particularly large number of travelers. At the December 27th and 28th the situation becomes similar. The trains will be very busy here. From now until the New Year will be around 100 extra moves deployed. The train wants to equalize where possible.

It won’t be as crowded as it was before Corona. The railway expects that a third less will be going on. But it will too significantly fuller than last year around Christmas. There was hardly anything going on in the trains.

There is a stumbling block for families at the moment: Also Children from 6 years need one when traveling by train over Christmas negative testif they are not vaccinated. Because during the holidays, schoolchildren are not exempt from the obligation to take a test at Deutsche Bahn.
