Oberberg The Oberbergische Police have found a way to educate children about the dangers of road traffic even in Corona times. Video clips can be viewed in daycare centers and at home.

The road accident prevention team of the Oberberg police force is not having an easy time of it at the moment. Usually they visit schools and kindergartens regularly to make the children aware of the dangers of road traffic. Particular attention is paid to traffic education in kindergarten, where both children and parents learn what is important when children move around in traffic.
But currently, in the times of the corona pandemic, everything is a little different. With a distance and a face mask, the training was only possible to a limited extent – and often the training hours had to be canceled completely.
Nevertheless, these children will soon want to cope with their way to school independently. For this reason, the Oberberg police have come up with something else. With child-friendly videos, they show children and parents what is important in road traffic.
You are welcome to watch the videos in kindergarten or at home. It is best for the children to then practice what they have learned with an adult. And that also works in Corona times.
