Cologne (dpa / lnw) – A 19-year-old car poser wrecked a rented car under a Cologne Rhine bridge on Thursday evening. He then tried to get away on slippers, but civil investigators stopped him. Then he told them: “Anyway, the insurance will take care of it.” However, this should turn out to be a miscalculation, as insurance companies do not reimburse the damage in the event of negligent behavior, said a police spokesman on Friday.
