Trade and services | Bron: Galeries Lafayette relaunches transformation project with new partner

Keys Reim, portfolio management company of the Keys Asset Management Group and Citynove, the real estate company of the Galeries Lafayette group, signed a partnership to transform the Galeries Lafayette site in Bron.

Dating from 2012, the project was on hold.

Built in the 1960s, on the edge of the 8th arrondissement of Lyon, the 27,500 m² building now houses the Galeries Lafayette, Monoprix and three other retail businesses.

By 2024, this historic commercial complex will be transformed. The building will be completely redesigned by the architectural firm Moatti-Rivière. The new facade will open onto the city and will accompany a supply of renewed signs and services.

Galeries Lafayette will remain open for the duration of the work.

The Lyon Bron Galeries Lafayette project is increased to 70% by one of the funds managed by Keys REIM and to 30% by the Galeries Lafayette group.

For Eric Costa, President of Citynove: “We are very happy with this partnership. Keys REIM and the Galeries Lafayette group share the same vision of commercial real estate focused on customer relations and the same desire to reintegrate the challenges of the natural, social and cultural environments which have been neglected for too long. The Galeries Lafayette site in Lyon Bron will remain practical and lively, but it will become more pleasant, more aesthetic and more useful to the community. “

According to Pierre Mattei, president of Keys REIM, “this agreement marks the ability of our group to position itself on major assets and to anticipate the needs of tomorrow in terms of businesses, as well as our agility in a particular period. “
