Track closure between Hamburg and Hanover lifted

Bad Bevensen (dpa / lni) – Due to an emergency doctor on the track in Bad Bevensen in the Uelzen district, the railway line between Hamburg and Hanover was temporarily closed on Friday morning. After a good two hours, the emergency doctor’s work was over and the blockage was being lifted, Deutsche Bahn announced. According to the police, both directions were affected. According to the railway, the IC and ICE long-distance trains were diverted in time and were therefore delayed by up to 30 minutes. The stops in Lüneburg, Uelzen and Celle were omitted.
